A message from Peter Brown, Managing Director of Jack Richards.
Here at Jack Richards and Son, we are closely monitoring the evolution of the Coronavirus situation across the globe, with our primary focus being on the health of our customers and employees.
We would like to reassure all our customers that we are following all recommended precautions set by our Government and the World Health Organisation in order to mitigate the impact of the virus on to our staff and to minimise any effect on the service which we provide.
Whilst we have always held strong health and safety practises in place, these are now being reviewed, strengthened and updated daily as the situation develops. We are currently testing contingencies to enable operations to be supported by staff working from home if any of our offices be affected due to this virus. Our major concern will be keeping our drivers healthy to ensure the physical service can be delivered and we, therefore, are prioritising all measures we can take to protect drivers from becoming infected we may request changes in how our drivers are received and looked after at customers sites and hope you will work with us if these are required.
Our systems are designed to be resilient to minimise the impact to you and to your customers, we regularly test our business continuity plans, you can trust that you are in safe hands.
If at any stage you wish to discuss this further, please get in touch with us directly.
