Standards & Accreditations
Driver CPC Approved Training Courses
As a Driver CPC consortium member, we provide Driver CPC periodic approved training courses for LGV drivers. All modules are approved by Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training (JAUPT). Approved Consortium Member of AC02025.
DVSA Authorised Testing Facility
Jack Richards & Son operate a privately-owned Authorised Testing Facility (ATF) in Fakenham, Norfolk, for the annual MOT testing of lorries, trailers and certain buses/coaches* (LGV, TRLs, PSV).
All commercial MOT tests are carried out by approved DVSA staff and tested to the same standards as would be carried out at a Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) test station.
Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) Bronze Accredited
FORS is a voluntary accreditation scheme which takes into consideration all aspects of safety, fuel efficiency, vehicle emissions and improved operations.
Bronze accreditation confirms that we employ good practice and comply with the requirements set out by the FORS standard. This includes demonstrating dedication to driver and vehicle safety, combined with improving operating practices through effective monitoring of fuel and tyre usage.
