Our drivers are a key driver of our success. We count on them to achieve fantastic levels of service as they transport goods to destinations across the UK on behalf of our valued customers.

As a Jack Richards’ driver, you will become one of our ambassadors. You will be responsible for making sure customers goods are delivered on time and in good condition. We expect all of our drivers to act in a courteous manner and professionally represent the good name of Jack Richards & Son when on the UK roads.

We are committed to recruiting, training and retaining the best LGV drivers by:

• Providing you with a comprehensive Driver Compliance Induction Programme. Delivered online in bite-sized modules, you can complete this four-hour programme in your own time and at your own pace. And, what’s more, we will pay you for completing the induction programme.
• Offering you a structured career programme. Developed and delivered by highly experienced professional LGV drivers with will support your progress from driver to driver mentor, lead driver and CPD training provider, through to becoming a full driver trainer.
• Giving you access to 10 JAUPT approved Driver CPC training courses. We offer periodic courses throughout the year at our training centre in Fakenham, Norfolk to ensure your Driver CPC is kept up-to-date.
