We are looking to hire a professional Class 1 (C+E) Shunter

** Unfortunately, at the moment we are not accepting applications from Newly Qualified Drivers with less than 12 months’ Commercial Class 1 driving experience**
Preferred Experience:
- Curtainside Trailers
- Paper Reels, Cardboard
- Ratchet Strapping
- Terberg
- Load Strapping
** You must hold a valid LGV/HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, hold a UK digital tachograph card and a full DQC (CPC card) **
Role involves:
- Rotate between Earlies, Lates & Nights:
- Week 1: 06:00 – 14:00 (Mon to Thu) | 0600 – 13:00 (Fri)
- Week 2: 14:00 – 22:00 (Mon to Thu) | 13:00 – 20:00 (Fri)
- Week 3: 22:00 – 06:00 (Mon to Thu) | 20:00 – 03:00 (Fri)
- Moving trailers to and from our trailer park along with securely Strapping in loads ready for transport.
- Strapping & tying in Pallets and Waste Bales in addition to moving trailers
Gross Annual Earnings:
- £33,100 + Bonus (see below)
Bonuses:
- £6 per shift worked Retention Bonus (max c. £1,300 p.a.)
Gross Annual Earnings figure includes:
- £1.00 per hour Safety Bonus
- Enhanced Rates after 10 hours
