HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers – Days or Tramping – Northampton (General Haualge Fleet)

Jack Richards is looking for a professional Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our well-established, family run national haulier.

Shift Available:

• 4 On 4 Off Days
• 4 On 4 Off Tramper
• 5/6 Days (Mon Start Day)
• Mon to Fri Days (1 in 3 Sat)
• Mon to Fri Days

** Unfortunately, we are not accepting applications from Newly Qualified Drivers with less than 12 months’ Commercial Class 1 (C+E) Driving experience**

Preferred Experience:

• General Haulage
• Curtainside Trailers
• Ratchet Strapping
• Timber
• Paper Reels & Cardboard Packaging

** You must hold a valid LGV/HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, hold a UK digital tachograph card and a full DQC (CPC card) **

Role involves:

• Ensuring vehicles comply with legal requirements, reporting issues to your DC team
• Ensure the security and accuracy of delivery of the loads in your charge
• Following delivery instructions accurately and effectively
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

Estimated Annual Gross Earnings:

• 5/6 Days (Mon Start Day): c. £51,100 + Bonuses (see below)
• Mon to Fri Days (1 in 3 Sat): c. £50,000 + Bonuses (see below)
• Mon to Fri Days: c. £47,800 + Bonuses (see below)
• 4 On 4 Off Tramper: c. £38,400 + Bonuses (see below)
• 4 On 4 Off Days: c. £34,800 + Bonuses (see below)

Bonuses:

• £6 per shift worked Retention Bonus (max c. £980 p.a.)
• SAFED Plus Fuel Bonus (max c. £730 p.a.)

The above figures include:

• Enhanced Rates after 10 hours
• £26.20 per Night Out (Tax-Free)
• £10 per Day Meal Allowance (Tax Free)
