HGV Class 1 (C+E) – Nights – Northwich (General Haulage)

Jack Richards is looking for professional a Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver, to join a well-established, family run national haulier.

** Unfortunately, we are not accepting applications from Newly Qualified Drivers with less than 12 months’ Commercial Class 1 (C+E) Driving experience **

Preferred Experience:

• Curtainside Trailers
• General Haulage
• Timber
• Ratchet Strapping
• Paper Reels & Cardboard Packaging

** You must hold a valid LGV/HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, hold a UK digital tachograph card and a full DQC (CPC card) **

Role involves:

• 5/6 Nights (any start day) preferred but 5 Nights (any start day) OK.
• Ensuring vehicles comply with legal requirements, reporting issues to your DC team
• Ensure the security and accuracy of delivery of the loads in your charge
• Following delivery instructions accurately and effectively
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

In return you will get:

• Estimated Annual Gross Earnings:
• 5/6 Nights (Mon Start Day) – c. £43,700 + Bonuses (see below)
• Mon to Fri Nights – c. £39,200 + Bonuses (see below)
• Other Start Day Illustrations on request.
• The above includes Enhanced Rates after 10 hours
• The above includes up to £10 per Day Meal Allowance
• Earn an additional £6 per shift worked Retention Bonus (c. £1,300)
• Earn an additional SAFED Fuel Bonus (max. c. £1,000)
• Get paid 13 times a year (4 weekly).
