Transport Administrator


Location: Northwich

Hours of work: Monday-Friday 9.00-18.00hrs with 30 minute lunch. Occasional Saturday working as and when required during peak periods.

Due to an increase in workload we require a Transport Administrator to join our team at Northwich. Jack Richards and Son Ltd are a family run company with over 60 years' experience within Transport and Logistics. In this role you will be joining an existing team of Five and reporting into the Operations Manager.

Duties will include:



  • Answering phone calls
  • Briefing Drivers
  • Adding jobs to our bespoke system
  • Booking in deliveries
  • Checking delivery notes
  • Communicating with customers
  • Keeping our in house system up to date 
  • Data entry

Key skills and experience will include:

  • Excellent communicator
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills
  • PC literate with Microsoft Excel/Word experience
  • Proactive and self-motivated


The successful candidate will preferably have previous experience in the Transport industry however this is not essential

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
