Transport Administrator - Customer Services

 

Location: Northwich

Hours of work: 40 hours per week, Monday- Friday

An opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our existing Customer Services team at our depot in Northwich.

 

Key duties:

  • Invoicing and being responsible for your assigned customer accounts.
  • Dealing with customer queries and enquiries.
  • Load building and booking in deliveries.
  • Preparing Management and customer reports using Excel.
  • General office administration and other adhoc office duties.

 

The ideal person will have the following skills:

  • Experience working within a transport and logistics / warehouse environment.
  • Experienced in all Microsoft packages with Excel being a must.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Good geographical knowledge
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

 

The successful candidate will have excellent Customer Service and Administration experience including invoicing and be able to confidently communicate at all levels whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy at all times.  Geographical knowledge would be an advantage.  You will be flexible, self-motivated and a team player.

Business Administration Apprentice

 

Location: Fakenham

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday- Friday

Due to continued business development, we have a great opportunity for the right person to join the business as a Business Administration Apprentice. Reporting to the Commercial Director the successful candidate will work within our Customer Service and Commercial departments. This role will be ideal for someone who would like a broad introduction to the world of business within a well established company. You will have the opportunity to gain a level 2 or level 3 in Business Administration, depending on your experience. This formal training is completed at our premises through our nominated training provider.

 

Duties will include:

  • Updating in-house IT systems
  • Invoicing customers and producing KPIs
  • Answering telephone and email enquiries
  • Filing
  • Scanning delivery notes
  • Inbound and outbound calls to customers
  • Checking through customer paperwork for discrepancies and raising invoices
  • General administrative duties

 

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Be able to manage their time well
  • Have good reading, writing and numeracy skills
  • Have a willingness to learn
  • Have a good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Be confident with learning new IT systems

Data Inputter

 

Location: Fakenham

Hours of work: 40 hours per week, Monday- Friday

A vacancy has arisen in our Traffic Department based at Fakenham for a Traffic Administrator/Data Inputter.

This position reports to the Operations Supervisor whilst working closely with the operations and traffic planning teams.

 

Duties will include:

  • Precise and accurate data entry
  • Manage email receipts booking loads
  • Building and maintaining an excellent relationship with customers
  • Liaise with other departments on a daily basis
  • Manage incoming telephone calls
  • Supporting the traffic team when required

 

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

  • Good IT skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Be able to work at speed whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy

Hours of work:  Flexible shift patterns available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week with unsociable hours rates applied.
