Duties will include:

  • Managing the whole logistics operation and fleet at this site
  • Producing and understanding KPI on a weekly basis
  • Attending daily /weekly & monthly meetings
  • Identify cost saving opportunities
  • Your responsibilities include the effective management of a team of drivers, shunters, and transport team to achieve the highest standards of productivity
  • You will be responsible for legislative compliance for all driver H&S issues, equipment management and tachograph management

Key skills and experience will include:

  • Excellent organisational skills and be able to demonstrate a commitment to delivering consistent quality in a time-constrained operation
  • Knowledge of supply chain, Logistics or Transport
  • Leadership skills
  • Strong, effective communicator
  • Good IT skills
  • Effective people management skills
  • Ideally possess National / International CPC Qualification

 

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £30,000.00 to £40,000.00 /year

Customer Service- Trainee

 

Location:Fakenham

Hours of work: 48 hours per week minimum, Monday to Friday. Start and finish times will vary between the hours of 06.00 and 20.00 (30 minute lunch break), Saturday mornings are required on a rota basis.

Salary: Salary: £18,000.00 to £20,000.00 /year

The role will suit an individual who is looking for an interesting and varied career opportunity within our distribution centre as part of a client operation. This role is a career opportunity for the right person to join one of the best independent haulage companies in the UK.

The successful candidate will be bright, enthusiastic and willing to embrace a variety of duties.

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor duties will include:

Helping with co-coordinating the daily routines of the business which will include routing and planning deliveries

Liaising with customers and clients regarding delivery and service issues

Ensuring the warehouse meet dispatch deadlines

Monitoring client accounts

Ideally educated to A level standard, excellent maths and IT skills are essential (knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook mail), combined with a strong level of organisational and communication skills.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be enrolled into an apprenticeship in Business Administration.

Customer Services Administrator

 

Location: Fakenham

Hours of Work:  Full Time Position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: £16,500 - £17,500 per annum

 

A vacancy has arisen in our Customer Services Department based at Fakenham for an Administration Assistant.

This position reports to the Customer Services Manager whilst working closely with the Operations Department.

Key duties include:

  • Data Entry
  • Manage e-mail receipts booking loads
  • Building and maintaining an excellent relationship with customers
  • Liaise with other departments on a daily basis
  • Manage incoming telephone calls

The ideal person will have the following skills:

  • Good IT skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good organisational and time management skills
