BBC Springwatch

Jack Richards combined the resources of its full load Road Transport division and it Palletways division to collect three golf buggies from Manchester and deliver them to the BBC Springwatch programme being filmed at the Pensthorpe nature reserve. The buggies which were too big to go through a traditional pallet network hub were loaded on a Jack Richards Road Transport 44 tonne artic in Manchester and delivered to the Jack Richards depot at Fakenham.

At Fakenham they were transshipped to a new Jack Richards Palletways 18 tonne rigid equipped with a cantilever tail lift. This truck was small enough to be able to access the nature reserve and as can be seen from the photos below is equipped with a tailift which can be angled to enable the buggies to be rolled safely off the back without any kind of drop.

All proving once again that professional haulage companies, like Jack Richards invest in the right equipment to ensure we can make your deliveries successfully and cost effectivley
