Road Transport 

Road Transport is the core of the Jack Richards business. We provide full load haulage services across the UK utilising a fleet of 160 units and 300 trailers all plated at 44 tonne giving payloads of 28.7 tonnes. All of our distinctive maize yellow trailers are 13.6m long, with a 2.9m aperture, enabling us to handle with ease double stacked pallets or other high volume products.

Jack Richards use the most modern IT systems including the 'Orchestrator Traffic Management System. This is a microsoft windows based system that is linked directly to our satellite tracked fleet. Our trafffic planners are therefore able to make decisions on behalf of our customers safe in the certainly of knowing exactly where our trucks are. The Orchestrator system developed for Jack Richards by P1 Technologies uses microsoft windows design not only to enable Jack Richards to plan our vehicles efficiently but also to enable our customers to have easy access to their POD's.

By continually reinvesting in the business the Richard's family have now established 3 major depots at Fakenham, Wisbech and Northwich with outbases for vehicles at Norwich, Milton Keynes and London Colney. This network enables the business to provide a truly UK service.
